Since 1993, Blue Pacific Flavors, Inc. has been a leader in technology driven flavor creation combined with food and beverage application intellectual property solutions. The company flavor capabilities range from new product development to duplication, providing its customers an international spectrum of innovation, expertise and tradition for quality, service, and value.

The company’s corporate headquarters and manufacturing plant has been based in a new state-of-the-art facility in City of Industry, CA since June of 1999. This site is equipped with wet and dry pilot laboratories, with state of the art spray drying and UHT/HTST direct and indirect Microthermics and Armfield processors, in addition to its flavor creation labs. In addition, the company has added a Waters™ HPLC Analytical Laboratory as well as other quality assurance and HACCP programs to meet its strict quality guidelines.

To date, Blue Pacific has reduced its packaging by more than 60% with the roll-out of foam-molded, reusable boxes in all sample bottle distributions. The company also employs back-hauling techniques to reduce the amount of energy expended during its shipping activities.

Other initiatives in the Catching the Green Wave environmental campaign include:

Transition of all company owned and leased vehicles to hybrid vehicles by 2009
Mandatory recycling protocols in manufacturing and administration operations
Transition to halogen lighting and waterless urinals in facility building
All company literature and marketing material will be produced on recycled paper
An employee incentive program to encourage carpooled or public transportation to and from work
Transition to solar panel or wind energy at the California facility
Retrofit facility construction to obtain LEED Green Building Rating System certification as a high-performance green building
